Traveling Throughout Estonia

Things You Should Know Before Visiting Estonia

Planning a traveling tip is always filled with fun activities, especially when you are visiting a unique country such as Estonia. I remember when we first traveled to Estonia, it was during the summer because of the kids, we wanted to take them with us. This is one my personal favorite trips that we have been on because everyone loved spending time there and we had a really hard time coming back home. Before we arrived, we had an idea of how it will all look and how the people are living, but we were quite surprised because it wasn’t like we thought it would be.

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, in fact, it was even better than we expected. There are just so many nice places to visit in Estonia, I wish I can go back there some other time to explore even more of the Estonian beauty. In case that you don’t want to leave anything to surprise, then there are few things that you should know about before you go there. This way, you will be completely prepared for the journey.

More than Just Once City

EstoniaThe biggest mistake that we have done is that we didn’t plan a lot of traveling inside of Estonia, we were kinda walking around Tallinn all the time and one week before we had to leave, we discovered that there are a lot more beautiful cities and small towns that are just as special as Tallinn. Of course, if you want to travel to Estonia, I do recommend that you spend few days in Tallinn because it is truly a nice city, but after three to four days you will have nothing new left to see or experience. I hope that you are a person who likes the nightlife and going out in nightclubs because in Tallinn you will find a lot of those.

Therefore, if you are planning to visit Estonia, make sure to be ready to party hard and to visit some other places. There are many other major cities that will give you a very nice traveling experience. I wouldn’t say it is the best place for a family to travel because of the nightlife, but during the day it is very beautiful.

Getting Around

One of the things that will help you out a lot is to use the local buses to get around some closer cities. When we were there, we first started using the train, but soon realized that is not the best way to travel. Of course, the buses are little more expensive than the train, but overall it is a better option because you get to the destination even faster and you much more comfortable in a bus than a train.
